Decrease Auto Lock time on iPhone

On August 5, 2011, in How To, iOS, iPhone, by admin

This guide will show you step by step how to decrease the Auto-Lock time on your iPhone, or any iOS device. This is the amount of idle time the iPhone is left for before it locks and turns off the screen output. If you are disabling notifications to help increase battery I would recommend our guide on how to increase iPhone battery life.

  1. Unlock your iPhone
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Navigate to General

    iPhone Settings General

  4. Then tap Auto-Lock and select a time, the lower you select the more battery you will save.

  5. That’s it! All done, press the home screen to exit the Settings Menu.

Done that. How do I do this for LESS than a minute please? Or, isn’t that possible??

      Maxi,

It’s not currently possible in iOS, however you can lock your iPhone manually by pressing the lock button in the top right hand corner of your iPhone.

      Thanks,
